Nice video, I think he might reinforce the system initially, but the variety and notoriety of his projects inevitably give people the means to critique/ insist people be critical. If these ridiculous schemes gain media attention and eventually gain somewhat of an institutional status we can’t help but be critical of existing institutions in light of the exposure of Abel’s false ones. Plus he is a genius at undermining the status quo. How could we channel this innovation?

He is very successful at engaging participants through performance. Maybe we could explore this dynamic as a way to instigate change.
